Jintara is the #1 ranked superstar
singer from NE Thailand, an area that was historically Laos. 'Jin' sings Thai
Lao ethnic country music from that region. After I left Cambodia in late 1997,
I joined her traveling show and performed in about 200 concerts, the only
'farang' (foreigner) to ever have done so, living communally with her 150
performer revue throughout the Mekong River bordering Cambodia and Laos.
Whenever I revisit Thailand I am welcomed as a guest in her shows.
I am eternally grateful that Jintara and her entourage have opened their
hearts to me.
